"Helmut lived and worked as a photographer and writer in London, Amsterdam, Spain and sixteen oh-so-sunny years in Los Angeles before moving to Germany to become editor-in-chief of 'Musikexpress/Sounds'. After some moderately successful four years behind an impressive desk in Munich, he returned to being a photographer and writer again. He left Germany just recently to move - believe it or not - back to Los Angeles where he continues to shoot pictures and to write stories."

"Oh, and by the way – among other things Helmut is also the creator of such illustrous and lovable characters as Archibald Frogg, a contemporary amphibian the size of a 10-year old who lives in Manhattan, Rumpole Stiltskin, a Jewish-Ukranian immigrant working as a money launderer in Las Vegas, as well as Alice, suffering – at least in the eyes of Archibald who can’t stand her white anklets – from some kind of arrested development. Alice is now cruising the streets of Berkeley, California, in a Jag convertible in search of the perfect ice cream cone.
